I Frutti dell’Amore® is the ornamental rose hip line developed by Patrucco Idea, designed for growers who want to enhance their land with an ornamental crop that is highly valued in the premium floriculture market.
Rose hip stems are widely used by florists, wholesalers, and floral industry professionals for high-value autumn arrangements, with a steady demand that often exceeds product availability.

Patrucco Idea is a nursery specialized in roses for several generations, with long-standing experience in the selection and hybridization of varieties dedicated to the production of ornamental rose hips.
Our patented varieties Corallo, Corallo Erecta, and Zaffiro (I Frutti dell’Amore®) are appreciated for their aesthetic quality, long vase life, and the strength of their stems. They can be cultivated without greenhouses or tunnels, making them suitable even for already established farms.

This crop can represent an opportunity for agricultural diversification: an alternative to cereals, fruit, and vegetable production, with a positioning oriented toward the floriculture sector and the supply of stems for floral arrangements and flower auctions.
Our goal is to offer a concrete project that combines plant supply, practical guidance for establishing the plantation, and support throughout the process up to the sale of the stems, thanks to an already active commercial network.

Basic requirements and conditions

To start a plantation with ornamental rose hip varieties, it is important to consider a few minimum requirements:

• Minimum order: 5,000 plants

• Recommended minimum area: approx. 5,000 m²

• Plant delivery: October–November (pre-order required)
